photo credit: www.sugarandcharm.comToday kicks off a season of holiday cheer and months of endless candy, pies, cakes, holiday drinks, sugar, sugar, and oh yeah sugar! It's one of the best times of year, but also the hardest for the waistline and forget about control. So what if we armed ourselves for these food fulfilled days ahead? With a little prep-time and meal planning we can be ready to fight back and maybe actually enjoy the holidays instead of feeling guilty and indulgent. Here are a couple of my new recipes to help keep you on track, fighting the sugar highs, and food comas. Enjoy your holidays. indulge in the things you love most, just know your limits, reach for the healthy stuff first and then treat yourself with a small piece of pumpkin pie or the peppermint and chocolate martini that has you name written all over it. Once it's all over and the new year shows up. You'll still be on track, one step ahead, and ready to jump-start your New Year's resolutions and goals.Paprika and Sea Salt Roasted Chickpeas
