Valentine's Day!
I can't believe it's already Valentine's Day! The weather has been so mild up until this weekend, even my bulbs are wishing for spring to get here quicker. I've been watching and worrying as my tulips, violets, daffodils, hyacinth, and even hydrangeas start to bud and push up through the soil. With that being said, Valentine's Day usually jump starts me to prepare all my seeds, gather all the pots, get the greenhouse up, check the compost and get ready to start my seedlings in less than 3 weeks. I'm so excited this year to try new things and expand my garden to make it even bigger this year with moveable raised beds, more containers, and hopefully a phone call from the community garden saying I have my plots back again! I've plotted my garden, ordered new seeds, salvaged and even saved more from last year. I can't wait to try to grow capers, farro, chickpeas, and something extra special this year! Top secret of course! Pictures will definitely be popping up on this blog as soon as these beauties show their faces! While everyone enjoys their yummy Valentine's chocolates. I'll be daydreaming of these delicious goodies!
